Mutantea
A free-improvisation trio uniting Uton and Kulkija with the Argentine experimentalist Anla Courtis.
Mutantea is a collaborative trio bringing together Uton (Jani Hirvonen) and Kulkija (J. Koho) with the Argentine musician Anla Courtis, formerly of Reynols. The pairing links the Tampere circle to the wider international experimental network, trading the label’s usual solitary drone for genuinely group-improvised sound.
The project is documented here as one of the collaborations that carried the Ikuisuus aesthetic outward, into the orbit of long-standing figures in global free improvisation.
